Pet Pros of Wilmington believes it is important to create strong bonds between owners, pets, and pet care providers. Although we provide a wide range of services, please do not hesitate to ask us for additional arrangements. It is our goal to enhance the life of your pet so that you can work, travel, or play - worry free!

*PET SITTING: Many pets consider the unfamiliar, and often very loud, environment of a kennel to be a haunting and traumatic experience. Older pets and those with special health concerns can be affected very poorly in such a stressful situation. Their home is their sanctuary, and some animals simply get nervous when boarded at a kennel. A pet care provider can alleviate that stress while guaranteeing that your pets get the food, medicine and attention that they're accustomed to throughout the day. You can choose either daily or overnight plans to suit the needs of your pets.

*A PEACE OF MIND. By alternating lights and blinds, retrieving mail, and watering plants, we are providing crime-deterrent actions to give you additional peace-of-mind. Besides, we're just a phone call away. Think you left the stove on? Forget to close the bedroom window? Did you unplug the humidifier? We'll take a trip to relieve any anxieties. You return to a happy pet and your home is safe and sound!

*MID-DAY EXERCISE. We know how practically impossible it can be to run errands, eat lunch, and make it home to let your dog out all within one measly lunch hour. Allow us provide them with a long walk, a snack, some playtime, and lots of attention.

*MEDICATION (including SQ flluid treatment). We are experienced with administering medication in all forms (oral, topical, or injectable). After years of working in veterinary hospitals, we understand the natural stress that accompanies medicating animals and the worries of having an inexperienced care taker provide such necessary treatments.

*BASIC OBEDIENCE. Training is an essential ingredient to owning a pet. It takes time and patience as well as consistent, repetitive training and positive reinforcement. Dogs benefit from the attention while stimulating them mentally. We offer lessons targeting your needs so you can walk your intelligent dog proudly. We give you instructions, too!

*EXERCISE INTERVALS . A walk is important to a dog of every age; it is beneficial to them both mentally and physically. For those young and/or hyperactive canines, we provide 30 minute intervals of playtime so they can eliminate any boredom or anxieties from being alone. If he/she likes to play ball, catch frisbees, play hide-n-seek, or just simply likes to run, we'll give your dog the opportunity to stretch his legs and alleviate pent-up anxieties. For elderly and special needs pets, we'll go at a much slower place while still incorporating fun and attention.

*PET TRANSPORTATION. If you are unable to take your pet to the groomer, the veterinary office, or pick up/drop off at the airport, allow us to transport them for you. This way, you no longer have to make weekend appointments and you'll be free to spend more quality time with your pet!

*BATHING. If your pooch needs to be pampered or if you've just got one heckuva dirty dog, let us do the dirty work. Ears, nails, and a bath without even leaving home.

*PET-ICURES (nail trims). For some animals, the stress of a car ride is enough. Add the chaoctic dimension of a probing vet or restraining groomer and it's enough to make your pet hate cars entirely. Allow us to come to their environment to make nail trims a much more tolerable experience.
